A beach football team consists of 5 people: 4 field players and 1 goalkeeper. Just as in traditional football, the ball must not be touched by the arm or hand. A beach football match lasts 36 minutes, divided into three sets. The length of the playing field must be at least 35 meters and at most 37 meters. The width must be at least 26 meters and at most 28 meters. The goal used in beach football measures 5.5 x 2.2 meters and features a noticeable yellow color. The sport is played barefoot. World championships are organized every year, and the sport is also knocking on the door at the Olympic Games.
