The KNLTB stipulates in the ''Tennis Rules of the Royal Dutch Lawn Tennis Association 2020'' that the tennis court must be separated in the middle with a tennis net. This tennis net must be stretched taut so that it covers the entire space between both tennis net posts. Additionally, the net must have sufficient mesh to prevent the ball from being able to pass through the net. The top of the tennis net must hang from a cord or metal cable (we call this the steel cable) at a height of 1.07 meters. The middle of the net must hang at a height of 0.914 meters. The net must be stretched taut using a pull strap, which is white in color and covers the cord or metal cable. The tennis nets on this page fulfill the requirements of the KNLTB.
We offer various types of tennis nets, in two different sizes (12.8 x 1.07 meters or 12.7 x 1.07 meters). The tennis net is always slightly wider than the court dimensions. Our tennis nets have a single or double top mesh. A double mesh provides extra firmness and hence ensures a longer lifespan of the tennis net. Two of our tennis nets have with a laminated steel cable and the other tennis net has a steel cable with a nylon top band and a guyline at the bottom of the net. Our tennis nets are manufactured in a specialized factory where we also produce our football, hockey and handball goals.
